Day 1: Pickup at 4:30am – Transfer to Volcanoes national park
Early pickup from your hotel after breakfast for a 3 hours drive to Volcanoes national park. Elevating at 12,175 meter, Bisoke volcano is a 1 day hike to the top and back to the foot of the volcano covering 12 kilometers total. The Bisoke volcano is a dormant volcano which last erupted in 1957 with a crate lake at the top of the volcano. Also known as the Visoke, this volcano is part of the 8 volcanoes of the Virunga mountain ranges.
The mount Bisoke crater lake hike offers a fantastic adventure amidst beautiful vegetation and great views of all the other 8 volcanoes at the top.
The hike sets off at 7:30am after briefing on what to expect during the hike. You will be guided by trained staff and porters are available to help you carry your bags.

Day 3: Mountain gorilla trekking – Drop off in Kigali
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park starts at 8:00am. All tourists must be at the park office at 7:30am to start with briefing about what to expect during the gorilla trek and how to behave while in the presence of gorillas.
The actual gorilla trek can last from 1 hour to 6 hours depending on which gorilla group you have decided to trek. There are simple, moderate and tough hikes with gorillas far from the starting point and live deeper into the forest.
Meeting your gorilla family and spending 1 hour with the gentle giants is a incredible experience. Gorillas spend most of their day feeding on forest roots, shoots, and adults grooming their young ones.
Your guide will wait for you to return form the forest and drive you to your hotel for lunch.
Later be ready to set off for Rwanda – Kigali where you will dropped off at your hotel or airport to take departure flight.
