Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up at Arusha & drive to Lake Manyara National Park, enjoy a game drive

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. Departure time will be around 8:00am and do not forget a pack of picnic lunch. Once you have reached Lake Manyara National Park, you will proceed with a guided game viewing session.

You will have a short lunch break in the wild and then continue with the afternoon game drive until evening. Lake Manyara Park is known for its unusual animals like the tree climbing lions, flamingos, zebras, elephants, and many big cats. In the evening, you will be at the lodge to enjoy a leisurely dinner and then have a night stay.

Day 2: En-route game drive to Serengeti National Park

Following your delicious breakfast, check out of your accommodation and then proceed to Serengeti National Park. As you exit Lake Manyara, enjoy some game drive to see more wildlife. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape in the countryside and today, you will be dropped off to the lodge in Central Serengeti (Seronera area). This is where you can find the huge concentrations of wildlife in Serengeti.

Day 3: Explore the Central Serengeti the whole day

After the leisurely breakfast, leave your lodge for an exciting long day game drive through the Seronera area. This will be done with company of an experienced guide in Tanzania. Today’s sightings will include lions, lazing leopards on tree branches, hartebeest, topis, buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, cheetahs, warthogs, hyenas, gazelles, wildebeests and others.

The beauty about today’s game viewing session is that you will have a picnic lunch break and proceed with the afternoon session. You will only get back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro, game drive

Have a delicious cup of tea or coffee and after, you will be picked up by your driver guide. Today, you will be exiting the Central Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater/Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts of its breathtaking landscape and is surrounded by extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes. It protects over 30,000 animals. You will arrive early, check in your lodge then proceed with afternoon game drive.

On a game drive, look out for diverse animals including black rhinos, lions, elephants, leopards, wildebeest, hippos, and diverse antelope families. After the game drive, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure

Wake early to prepare, enjoy breakfast and then check out. Today, you will exit the lodge and descend into the Crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the biggest inactive, intact and unfilled volcano caldera on planet earth. Enjoy sight of wildlife in this area and after, enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch, proceed to Arusha, about 4 hours’ drive.
