Day 1: Kigali city tour – Transfer to Volcanoes national park
Pickup from your hotel to start the day with a visit of Kigali city starting with the popular genocide memorial site. Next you will visit the Kimironko fresh fruit and food market, visit the Art Museum of Kigali. Have lunch and depart Kigali on a 3 hours drive to Musanze province to Volcanoes national park Rwanda.

You will check-in for an early rest because you will require to be fresh and well rested for the gorillas the next day.

Day 2: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Kigali for departure
Gorilla safaris in Rwanda Volcanoes national park begin with briefing at the Kinigi park offices where tourists receive briefing about gorilla trekking in Rwanda, how the gorillas are managed, how to conduct in the presence of the gorillas so that they remain calm. It’s important that the gorillas remain calm in the presence of tourists so that you have a great 1 hour with them.

You will be divided into groups of 8 tourists per 10 habituated gorilla groups available in volcanoes national park. There is a simple gorilla trek to groups located at the foot of the mountain, moderate treks and tough gorilla treks with families located up the mountain.

You will watch the gorillas for 1 hours once you meet them, Always follow the instructions of your guides. They know how to communicate with the gorillas and will always watch out for your wellbeing.

You will meet your guide when you return from the gorilla trek and be ready to drive back to Kigali with drop off at your hotel or airport to catch your departure flight.
