Day 1: Pick up from the hotel in Nairobi & drive to Masai Mara

Meet your professional Kenya driver guide after having a delicious breakfast at your respective hotel. A short briefing about your road trip to Masai Mara will be conducted and before you set off, ensure that everything is packed in the 4WD vehicle.

Today’s road trip involves driving towards the Narok County for about 5-6 hours and expect to enjoy the mesmerizing landscape in the countryside. On arrival at the Maasai Mara, you will check in your pre-booked wilderness camps or lodges for the afternoon lunch and relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, you will pay a visit to the Maasai village to explore and experience more about the Maasai warriors of Kenya. The Maasai people are known for their unique traditions, cultures and distinct cultural dances as well as musical performances.

Day 2: Spend a complete day on a guided game drive

After breakfast, expect to depart from the lodge for a full day wildlife excursion in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have a combined morning and afternoon game drive with an experienced guide. There are lot plenty of interesting animals to encounter including lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants as well as wildebeest. If this trip is taken around July to September, there will be a chance to witness the world’s spectacle –the Great Migration.

The long day excursion through the Maasai Mara includes a picnic lunch and you proceed with an afternoon session. The rest of the evening will be spent at the lodge when get back from the long day game viewing excursion.
