Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup – Kigali city Tour – Drive to Bwindi Forest

Tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Kigali to start your Kigali city tour. Ideally the tour explore the Kigali genocide memorial site, the Kimironko fresh fruit market in Kigali, tour the caplaki craft village and later be ready to drive off to Uganda crossing via the Gatuna border into Kabale town.

You will have an enroute lunch as you drive through the beautiful Uganda country to Bwindi forest national park where you will have an early dinner and overnight at:

Day 2: Walk with gorillas in Bwindi forest

Your guide will drive you to the Bwindi impenetrable forest starting point to attend a routine gorilla talk from a head guide about gorillas and how visitors should conduct in their presence. Bwindi impenetrable forest is home to over sixteen mountain gorilla families and 2 gorilla groups available for gorilla habituation experience and all the families are habituated and used to seeing humans. The actual trek to the gorillas is somewhat difficult through the jungle forest but the experience of watching the family of the gentle giant is very exciting, breathtaking and very memorable.

You will hike back to the park offices to receive your certificates and meet your guide to drive you back to Kigali reaching in time to catch your departure flight or drop off at the airport to catch departure flight.
